A Slew of New SE Handsets

SonyEricsson rolled out five new handsets today across a broad range of market segments. They are:

The Z710 – A dual-use clamshell handset with features for both work and play. It's Push-mail compatible, EDGE-capable, but also streams music via Bluetooth and sports a 2 MP camera.

The W710 – A sport Walkman handset, with a motion sensor to track fitness activity. It also has a 2 MP camera and music player and can be clipped on a belt or arm iPod-style.

The W850 – A high-end Walkman handset with a slider form factor, a keys that flash to the beat of the music. It's music-centered, expandable to 4GB of memory.

The Z550 – A clamshell with a 1.3 MP camera, video, and is also push-mail ready. This is an upgrade of SonyEricsson's mid-range handset.

The M608c – A phone and messaging device, features PDA functionality. It is UMTS-ready and features Chinese handwriting recognition as the device, a derivative of the M600, is targeted to the Chinese market.
