4INFO & Opera Team Up for World Cup Scores

4INFO dropped us an email this morning to let us know about their World Cup score text alerts service, being delivered in partnership with opera links

. 4INFO are providing a text messaging solution allowing World Cup fans to sign up to receive text alerts whenever their favourite team scores a goal. Fans can also sign up for more general alerts, such as scores for a whole group or all scores each day, as well as querying schedule and group standing information, all via text message.

The partner service from Opera will allow fans to access all the above information, and more, through Opera's Goal '06 minibrowser and widget.
